Scorsese Sued?

Scorsese looks to be in hot water over a Shusaku Endo adaptation of his book Silence. Scorsese has been apparently planning to make a feature film adaptation of this book for over 20 years. the production company, Cecchi Gory who funded the film is suing Mr. Scorsese for multiple production delays. Martin Scorsese does not seem to be the type of guy that would ever get sued so this is very interesting to me. What are your thoughts? Do you still want Scorsese to adapt this book?
